On March 21, 2019 members of Quilt Guild by the Sea joined members of the Gold Coast Quilters Guild as the South Florida Coalition of Quilts of Valor Quilters to award Quilts of Valor to fifty-seven (57) veterans from all branches of the military. These quilts are made to the specifications requested by the national QOV organization. They were given to them in a special ceremony at VFW Post 1193 in Lawton.
