We purchased a 3607 aft cabin that comes equipped with full enclosure so there is no obvious place to put a bbq. Actually the only reason i would consider the 52V is the fact it can be ordered with the sky lounge.A nice big area to sit at when eating.The 466MY has a really nice booth style dinette. But what is your overall satisfaction with Carvers quality. I have no issues with my Carver. Other brands come with specific "blocking maps" and if you don't follow them, you'll puncture the hull...I won't say what brand, but, it's not Carver or Cruisers ;-). thats not what i want to see. I have had my boat for 5 years now had like it very much.No issues at all. The design of the yacht has been done by the yard's own designers while the interior is by Fossati Design. These were made with flat hull, and if the yard crew places the keel block in the wrong place, you'll get flex. Both are very nice boats and I think a better choice than a Searay. I'm not sure I'd take too much stock in the lift operator. For what it's worth, I've had my Carver for a year and a half and am still absolutely thrilled with it. {
